Consultative Committee
The formation of the EU OTC Derivatives Consolidated Tape (CT) Consultative Committee (CC) marks a major milestone in the development of the tape, ensuring industry expertise is formally embedded into the design and evolution of this critical piece of market infrastructure.
Designed as an independent source of expertise, the CC will play a central role in helping ensure the EU OTC derivatives CT delivers high-quality and comprehensive data for all market participants.
The CC comprises of up to 20 voting members, and have been selected via an open application process on the basis of industry experience, seniority, and capacity to contribute effectively. The goal of the CC is to secure balanced representation across the EU OTC derivatives CT ecosystem, including users, data contributors, vendors, and academics. The CC will advise Transparent Markets Europe (TME), the independent subsidiary of Etrading Software Ltd responsible for operating the EU OTC derivatives CT.
